Good People Good Things
“Uber Fail: a Wake-Up call for Sillicon Valley”
You may recall several high-profile news stories about how “toxic” Uber’s workplace was in 2017.
However, there are lots of generous and supportive people to stood against that negative culture. We created a grassroots initiative called Good People Good Things (GPGT) to remind everyone that we all have the power to bring joy and positivity to the world.

it started with six of us
A rogue newspaper full of positive vibes suddenly appeared and took over the SF HQ office. “Make the world (and the office) a better place by encouraging positive attitudes and actions.” was our slogan.

500+ friends,
18 regions of the world
Together, we can build a culture that’s all about optimism, equality, and empathy. After a couple of newspaper drops, we realized the initiative spread quicker and bigger than we expected. A lot of people reached out to us to voluntarily contribute to this movement.

Scout kit
Those who helped spread GPGT were called “Scouts” and received the scout kit to be the regional ambassadors to support events and experiences outside our HQ offices in San Francisco.

Pop-up for positivity
A fresh start to 2018 led us to develop a postcard pop-up booth. Submitted cards were randomly delivered to the GPGT members all over the offices in the world by Scouts.
